Why is Microchipping a Must?

Microchipping your pet is so important.  A collar and ID tag are great (and even an identification tattoo too), however these can come off or become obscured over time. Getting your pet microchipped is simple, permanent and can help reunite you with your lost pet, so why wouldn’t you chip your pet?

Here are a few incentives to help motivate you!

Easy Peasy!
Getting your pet microchipped is as simple as getting something the size of a grain of rice placed in between your pet’s shoulder blades to remain there throughout their life.  It feels the way a vaccination would, so it’s quick and they barely notice.  It’s easy, painless and permanent.

GPS Style Tracking
A microchip contains a registration number. When an animal is brought in, they are scanned for a microchip which brings up your registration number with all of your information.

Any Pet Can Be Microchipped
Microchipping isn’t only for dogs and cats. Any pet can be micro-chipped – bunnies, horses, ferrets, etc.  You can keep any pet safe.

Keep Your Information Up to Date
When you move or change phone numbers, remember to update your pet’s microchip information.  This ensures that if lost and found, you will have no problem being reunited with them.

Here is a heart-warming reunion story to help persuade you to get your pet microchipped:
